About the project
Cascaracha is a fermented drink made from coffee cherries that connects research, taste and sustainability. The idea of using coffee pulp that would otherwise end up as waste makes sense both ecologically and economically, creating space for a new type of product with added value.We decided to support the project because it is backed by a strong vision, an authentic story and a team with real growth potential.

DevX team involvement
We established our collaboration even before the actual development of the custom e-shop began. It was necessary to start building a new brand and a new product, and quality digital infrastructure is part of that.It soon became clear that a simple solution would not be enough and that a stable, modern e-commerce platform was needed to enable further growth.We started by preparing the user environment with a complete UX/UI design. We helped the client translate the product philosophy into a digital form, from interface design through frontend development to the integration of payments, logistics and product management. Our goal was to create a solution that is fast, clean, easily scalable and ready for additional product lines.Part of the collaboration also included content management, which is a natural part of our long-term project stewardship. We handle the complete operation of the e-shop, its security, updates and ongoing support to keep the system stable and ready for further development.

Vendure as the foundation
For our projects we reach for the best. We chose Vendure as a modern headless e-commerce platform that allows building the entire system on an API-first architecture. This allowed us to efficiently connect product logic with visual presentation, easily integrate external services and maintain a high degree of flexibility.For Cascaracha we created and implemented custom plugins, mainly for the payment gateway and shipping, to make the entire order process as smooth as possible and tailored to the brand's needs. We also customised the admin section for product and order management to match the client's specific workflows. This gives the Cascaracha team full control over content, inventory and orders, and allows them to easily expand the system.Vendure proved to be the ideal foundation for a project that emphasises clean architecture, speed and long-term sustainability.

Functionality and results
The result is an e-shop that feels light, clear and authentic. The ordering process is smooth, the administration intuitive and the whole system runs on a modern technological foundation with an emphasis on performance, security and sustainability.Cascaracha today stands as an example of a project where a good idea met a technically well-thought-out solution.
